Why a vacuum does not work
Pet hair does not sit on carpet — it weaves into it. Each hair hooks into the fibre loops of the carpet and seat fabric, so a vacuum skates over the top and leaves most of it behind. The same happens in seat seams, under the seat rails, in the cargo area and along the door sills where the dog jumps in.
Getting it out takes time and purpose-made tools, which is why we price it as a separate add-on rather than folding it into every detail.
What we do
- Work every fabric surface with rubber pet-hair brushes and blocks that lift the hair out of the fibre
- Vacuum in stages, including seams, rails, the cargo area and under the seats
- Then run the full interior detail: hot-steam clean and deep shampoo extraction, which also lifts the dander and odour the hair leaves behind

What we need
Room to open every door and the tailgate, and ideally an outlet nearby. Please take out blankets, crates and pet beds before we arrive so we can reach the surfaces under them.

Will you get all of it?
We get the vast majority — including the hair a vacuum cannot touch. Some fabrics hold a few embedded hairs even after brushing and steam; we work them as far as they will go and are upfront if a spot will not come completely clean.
Is it $25 on top of the package?
Yes. Pet hair removal is a flat $25 add-on to any Gold or Titanium package. Select Yes in the booking form and the total updates before you submit.
Does it get rid of the dog smell?
The steam clean and shampoo extraction remove the dander and oils held in the fabric, which is where most pet odour lives. Heavily soaked-in smells improve a lot but may not vanish in one visit.
Which package should I pick for a dog car?
Gold Interior with pet hair ($155) covers most cars. If the dog rides daily, the carpets are stained or you want the surfaces protected afterwards, go Titanium Interior ($195) for the 2-stage shampoo and interior ceramic coating.
